Lauren Ducoste

Hometown: Raleigh, NC

Lauren is an active member of the University Honors Program and the Natural Hair Club. She has also worked as a Peer Leader for General Chemistry II. During the summer of 2017, Lauren participated in a Research Experiences for Undergraduates Summer Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She conducted her research in the Department of Biological Sciences, where she was seeking to understand the development of color-sensing photoreceptors in the Drosophila eye. In her free time Lauren enjoys relaxing with friends and family, watching Netflix, and going to see the North Carolina Symphony.
