Preslei Piercy

Preslei was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina. During her time at UNC Charlotte as a social work major and member of the University Honors Program, she hopes to connect with others and make a positive impact on the Charlotte community. After graduation, she plans to enter the UNC Charlotte MSW program and achieve a Licensure in Clinical Social Work (LCSW). She plans to pursue a career in Hospice social work, aiding patients and families during end-of-life care. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting, and playing with her Corgi, Ellie! She is grateful for the honor and privilege of being named a Johnson Scholar and the opportunities it and the University Honors Program provide.
