Janessa Schwallie

Janessa Schwallie is a senior dual-major in Mechanical Engineering and German-language and will be graduating with departmental honors in engineering. Her hometowns are Buffalo, New York and Mooresville, North Carolina. In her three years at UNC Charlotte, she has been a TA for three courses and an undergraduate research assistant for three projects. She has participated in four study abroad programs, travelling to England, Ireland and Germany. Janessa is an alumnus of the Engineering Leadership Academy Cohort 16, as well as Treasurer for both the University Honors Program and Tau Beta Pi, a national engineering society. In her free time, she loves exploring the newest hot spots for food, fun, and studying within Charlotte!
