Gene Stroup is a senior leader planning and delivering high quality environmental science products for human health and ecosystem protection. With experience working in government, industry and non-profit organizations, Gene brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex environmental issues. He has a reputation for building diverse, high-productivity teams that use innovative approaches to deliver practical solutions for stakeholders.

Gene graduated from the University Honors Program at Charlotte in 1997, with a degree in Earth Science, and led the University Honors Program Student Association as president in 1996. Gene lives in Raleigh, NC with his son and wife, who is also a Charlotte alumnus. In the Raleigh-Durham area, he currently leads the Charlotte Honors Alumni Network of the Triangle.
