Dmytro Zaytsev

Hometown: Matthews, NC

During his time on campus, Dmytro was actively involved in research. In the summer of 2016, he participated in the Charlotte Research Scholars program and studied “Controlling the Hydraulic Fluid Temperature and Thermal Gradient in a Temperature Controlled Enclosure” with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science. Dmytro’s poster was the winner in the Engineering, Nanomaterials, and Computing category at the Summer Research Symposium. In addition, Dmytro spent the fall of 2014 studying abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia. In his free time, Dmytro enjoys weightlifting, watching sports, and traveling.
