Cindy Gilson

Dr. Cindy M. Gilson joined the Niner Nation community in 2014 as a faculty member in the Cato College of Education’s Special Education and Child Development Department. In 2024, she became the Associate Dean of the Honors College where she supports the daily operations of the University Honors Program. She brings with her experience as an Associate Professor of Gifted Education, Director for the Graduate Certificate in AIG (Academically or Intellectually Gifted) Program, and Co-Director for the Honors in Education Program. Dr. Gilson enjoys teaching honors courses on topics related to creativity and creative problem solving, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students on their inquiry projects.
