The goal of the Honors Program in the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) is to identify creative, imaginative, and exceptional undergraduate CCI students and develop their potential through encouragement, opportunity, and recognition. By providing such students with the benefits of smaller classes and a more challenging curriculum, CCI hopes to impact retention of majors, entry into our graduate programs, and have talented undergraduate students contribute to and participate in faculty research.

When can I apply?

Students can apply as a high school senior or during their freshman, sophomore or junior year.

What are the GPA requirements?

You must maintain a 3.2 overall GPA and a 3.5 in CCI departmental courses.

What are the curricular requirements?

Students will complete 15 hours of honors coursework, including six (6) hours of Honors Capstone Experience. Visit the program website to learn more about the required courses and thesis options.
